About
All of us want to live forever, right? I mean, with only a very few exceptions (such as terminally ill patients or sadly disorientated suicide bombers) no one really wants to die!
So let’s work on that idea of living forever, O.K. ?
“Safety is no Accident”, they say. O.K. So living forever is not dying.
Now, all we have to do is eliminate all the causes of dying from our lives. If you smoke, stop! If you don’t exercise, start! If you don’t eat right, then start giving your body the kind of fuel it needs so as to not break down…
The only way we will NOT live forever is to die. So… If we eliminate all the reasons why we might die, starting with the earliest and most likely causes of death, we will be progressing on the road to living forever…
Here are the rules of the game:
When we come into this world, we are each issued a marvelous human body of our very own.
It comes “as is”. There is a no refund, no return, no exchange policy in effect.
Unfortunately these bodies of ours come without an operator’s manual! We must each learn the rules for our body’s care and maintenance from experience, from trial and error and by observing and researching the findings of others.
It is up to each of us to understand his or her own body and develop our own rules for its proper care and maintenance. We only get one body, so we must do our best to make it last for our whole lifetime!
