How much you should spend for a catering service depends on these two necessary questions: 1) What would you want your caterer do for you and 2) How much do you really want to spend for the service that you’ve asked for.
The amount of money that you are to spend for the party depends upon how posh you want it to be. Meaning the extent of service you expect the caterer to do for you depends on how much budget you are willing to spend too .
There are packages though prepared for you to choose from and thus creating more chances for the customer to easily choose a menu or package and then book for the event. And high – end caterers are willing to cater on your specific needs from the little details like the colors of your desserts to the motif and theme of your occasion .
Asking for how much you should spend for a caterer is normal. The answer is simply relative . There are factors to consider though – and I think It would not need a long article to answer the question .
And now the question: how much for this package? What would I expect from my pay? It really varies .
The price range you normally get these days is from P175 per head to P190 per head. Prestigious caterers might ask for P200 per head and upward.
There are usually 4 to 5 courses and one round of drinks. One or two desserts are also incuded. They can come as cakes, sweets, delicacies, salads, fruits, or chocolates. Roasted calf and lechon are add – ons and are not inclusive of the package . There are instances when you get a free lechon, turkey, or roasted calf from your caterer. It depends on how many number of persons you booked for. Some caterers give one lechon for every 100-person booking. Other caterers offer turkey or roasted calf for a number of persons per booking.
Normally – caterers would only accept at least 50 persons per cater. Others though are willing to dive down to 30 persons minimum. I am talking about the standard full-set up package of most caterers.
Having a full-setup catering would make you free from buying utensils, linens, plates, and some party items. The waiters are of course inclusive of the pay . This is one reason why people are getting caterers ; for them to enjoy the party too knowing that their guests are well – served by a team of well – trained service provider .
One of the caterers job is to keep the area clean and orderly before leaving it. They see to it that they leave not a mess after the celebration . The hosts normally would like to rest after the party and leave the general cleaning the next day. Caterers can really make a difference to your party or occasion.
